Ensure that the surface is free from dust, dirt, grease, oil or solvents. Check porosity of surface to be coated by the following exercise: A) Drop a droplet of cool water on to the cool surface. B) If the droplet is absorbed within 20-25 seconds the surface is suitably porous to be sealed. C) The surface may still be sealed if the water droplet is absorbed within 25-40 seconds. In this instance it is recommended that the first coat be diluted 50/50 with clean water.

Apply by means of brush, sponge or spray gun Do not apply in direct sunlight when surfaces are hot. Best results are achieved by applying 2 thin even coats. Allow 20 mins drying time between coats. After application of final coat allow 12 hours for sealant to cure completely. Note: On low porosity surfaces the thinner the coats, the better.

Clean equipment with water immediately after application. Cautionary note: Coated surfaces can become slippery when wet. Eg, around swimming pools.
